    At the last BOINC Workshop Colin Clark was saying they don't need perfect accuracy and they do "flexible validation" so results don't have to perfectly match a wingman's. Regardless something is messed up with how things are now with the new Binary Radio Pulsar Search (MeerKAT) (BRP7) application.

    Work is still flowing. One of the admins years ago got frustrated and lashed out at the community which put me off so I haven't contributed much for a good while. I was thinking about giving it another go but the lack of admin participation with the community right now is worrisome.

    The Linux apps use legacy vsyscall which is disabled by default in a lot of distributions for security reasons. Work units run anywhere from a few seconds to days. Earning credit seems to be like playing the lottery...CPU time of 1,000 seconds and earn 3,000 credit or CPU time of 800,000...
