BOINC@TACC Work Coming "Shortly"

A "large" batch of work is coming "shortly". I'm not sure exactly what that means, but if you've been wanting to catch some work here you may have a chance "shortly". I've attached and enabled this project on both my machines. We'll see what happens!

I've detached from this project as there was never any work. This is a Virtualbox site if that makes any difference although it work reasonably well for me. If the work is the same as before, they are very fast WUs (about 1 to 2 minutes execution time) but use a lot of memory.

Thanks for the tip. I'm still waiting for some work to show up. I should have enough RAM but may need to tweak the stuff running from other projects to make sure I don't end up overtaxed.

Almost a month later, still nothing. I also saw yesterday they still aren't doing stats export, so my interest in this project is minimal. I'm still attached so I can get News notices and PMs, but have set to NNT and probably won't be crunching anything unless they fix the export. I'm doubtful it will ever be fixed, the problem most likely is because they've set user accounts to be anonymous. It's been almost a year since that was brought up, should be more than enough time to sort it out if they were going to.
