Since getting into 39th place in the listing of Top Computers, I have been looking at the results of my competitors. I am surprised that most of them do not run CPU tasks, even those with 128 processors! I am going to deplete my CPU tasks in queue and see how it affects my daily output. I had been running two tasks per GPU but have increased to 5 per GPU.

I haven't kept up with the latest and greatest but it used to be that if you wanted max credit you were best served buying a CPU with a high clock speed and just enough cores to serve whatever number of GPUs you had. I doubt much has changed in the regard but I think most of us like the flexibility to run CPU work as well. I don't know how much of an increase you will see but you should see some especially with that many GPU tasks running at once.

Two kept the Titan X busy, but the RTX 3080 was not utilized fully. I did not have success setting for 3 tasks/GPU but I may have been impatient. I'll reduce the tasks/GPU and see if the 3080 stays busy.
Edit: Full utilization with three tasks per GPU.

I have paused my rig for a short while. My air conditioner is working hard to keep the house cool, and the voltage has dropped to 107.
Edit: The house cooled three degrees in an hour. I am running GPUs only to save ~200 Watts. Power consumption was ~950 Watts, and that exceeds the power used when Folding@home. Voltage is 112 now.
