We are still in the 90s here. I had to kick a new server to the garage, a 1U chassis with dual 32 core intel scalable processors gets LOUD, having to dial back to base speeds and no hyperthreading for now. Once that cool weather hits, 128 threads should bump the numbers nicely. Im giving windows server 2025 a test, but seeing issues with Latin Squares, have literally hundreds of work units completed and some aborted that will not clear even when manually updating the project. Anyone seen this before?

It's possible the server is/was having issues. The client isn't going to clear the work units until the server sends a response acknowledging them being completed/abandoned/etc.

Im not sure what the dealio was. they've been stuck for about 1.5 weeks, I did eventually just have to reset the project and dump them as my disk and memory were close to full, I dont want 64 threads sitting idle right now. I am also seeing the server not switch between project scorrectly. Im going to contunue to monitor, may be some windows nonsense with BOINC. If it continues it'll get Ubuntu like the good Lord intended lol.

Losing work is a bummer.

I did get the folding rig back online, it's clicking along nicely. :USA:

I'm a little slow, TBox0194. Z590 Aorus Pro AX, Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10850K at 5.0GHz, CoolerMaster ML 360 liquid cooler, 32GB Crucial RAM, no video card at this time. You can see both of my computers at SiDock. The other one is a Khadas Mind1 limited to 65 Watts.

I'll be offline a few days if the weather forecast is correct.

I'm hoping we don't lose power. Snow is delayed here, looks like it may extend into Monday more than initially forecast.

Very nice, whats your rig consist of?
I don't know why I didn't see this before. I'm doing GPU-only on a 4060 Ti. The rest is old, so old I don't even remember, it was a computer I found on a job years ago that being thrown out. It's overdue to be replaced but since I got it for free I keep running it. :D

[edit] I remembered that I'm running SPACIOUS on it, Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1276 v3 @ 3.60GHz [Family 6 Model 60 Stepping 3] I upgraded to this some point after I picked it up off the trash pile. I also added some RAM, I think went to 16 gigs. It runs flawlessly although obviously slow now. [/edit]

I'm probably done running big GPU crunchers like I did before, unless I hit the lottery.

I didn't loose power!

Componet prices are so high that my next computer will probably be pre-built.
