Hiyas,

I have been a long time (at least 2+ years cannot 'member) member. I was on the old forums. I took a bit of a hiatus from crunching due to being a bit burned out. However I am back.

Lemme see, I am a Nuclear Engineer by trade. More specifically I am a Senior Reactor Operator and Control Room Supervisor of a nuclear power plant in Southeast Michigan.

I have always had computers as my hobby and joined SETI@home back in 1999. As an engineer I firmly believe there is sentient life out there. Proving it would be IMHO the greatest discovery of mankind. I want to contribute my part to it.

Just wanted to say hi as I bring my crunchers back online. Have had a couple MB failures since they last computed but has been fun scavaging parts (as well as upgrading) and making new frankencrunchers.

I am sorry for the belated reply but I had the shift this weekend and we are having problems with the woodward governer on one of our reactor feed pumps so I have been a bit busy. In addition I had an electrical
transient at home which fried my microwave oven and maybe one PC (dunno if it is the PS or more extensive).

Besides the WOPR which is really becoming hard to maintain cause '80 components are hard to find... I currently am currently crunching with..
