Nvidia is considering crypto mining specific Ampere GPU cards

Nvidia should be asking dedicated GPU crunchers as well as crypto miners. Maybe they should ask team Gridcoin.

Mining cards from AMD were working pretty well on Einstein awhile back. As I recall, the warranty on them new was pretty short compared to standard cards. There might be good value for crunching, IF you can buy one for MSRP if they actually start making them. I've been wanting to build a new system for months but the new GPUs are hardly ever in stock, they're selling as fast as they come in.
