Folding@Home Reinforcements needed!

We are about to lose our 559th position arduosly conquered at Folding@home ... Anybody able to temporarily allocate some power to this project for about one month or two? Thank you very much and have a nice weekend!

I'm contributing to the run-out of the MIP work at WCG right now except for the GPU which I left on F@H. Once all the work has been done on MIP, I'll return for a while but not sure how long I will stay. Kept running into available work issues last time I was there.

I'm still running the AMD rig but it only returns one or two jobs a day now. The tasks have gotten much larger since last year when I started.

The Dell server is running one task on 24 threads (12 cores). The reduced capacity mining rig is running four GPUs and one CPU (4 cores, 4 threads). I am not sure what 24 hour average to expect.

My two computers are "finishing." I just got my power bill and I cannot justify running 1500 Watt heaters in the summer although my air conditioner handles the load easily.

Yup, been crunching COVID-19 on my RX-580. I Just added 4 CPU cores to the mix and opened up my work to any project.

Mine don't use quite that much but yes, this is a problem. It's why I shut down the GPUs in the summer.

I'm coming... I'm finishing up the last of the MIP work at WCG. It should finish by Monday or Tuesday. Will be moving about 200 CPU cores over to F@H.

128 CPU cores just came online to F@H. Other machines are draining down and should be available late tomorrow.

I was overly optimistic about the other machines. Still have about 1000 MIP1 WUs to work through and they are running a bit slower on these other machines. Probably should be done by tomorrow night or Tuesday morning. Then the other 80 cores will move to F@H. The big Dell system was moved over there last night and I have divided it's resources into 8 16-thread folding cores so running 8 at a time right now.

32 additional threads just came online to F@H as of 5 minutes ago. The other machines are finishing the last 350 MIP1 WUs and then an additional 48 threads will move to F@H.

BTW, is there a goal we are trying to reach on this project? It's not one of my favorite projects but I'm willing to contribute to help the team achieve a goal.
