Today I renewed the site hosting for 3 years. After some back and forth I was able to get A2 Hosting to give me Black Friday pricing which cut the cost of the original invoice by around 50%. 
The actual cost works out to 9.98 / month which is pretty good. We are currently on the Drive plan, I asked about going down to the base Startup plan but the cost for 3 years was going to be the same.
I"ve been very happy with A2, I haven't had any user complaints and the site has performed well so I felt this was the right path for now. Prices have gone up significantly since the site was originally moved but that's not a surprise. I don't know what things will look like in 3 years but I'll worry about that then.
The Xenforo license is also up for renewal, the forum will continue to function normally but will not get upgrades / patches etc. until the license is renewed. I will do that shortly.
