I have been diagnosed with Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia which explains my increasing tiredness. My hemoglobin count was 38 on Wednesday, 23 October.

I will soon begin moderate chemotherapy and two medications. I have my "Cancer Class" next Tuesday.

This isn't the end, but it is a new chapter. I am grateful for my 81 years (I will be 82 next February). I never expected to live this long!

I'm sorry to hear this, I've missed your active presence here the last few months. Best wishes for a full recovery. My dad turned 90 this year, he's survived prostate cancer and lymphoma as well as some other challenges the last few years. Here's hoping for the same outcome for you! :D
