WEP-M+2 Winter Challenge

USA has issued a 5 day BOINCstats Challenge to the BOINC community on the WEP-M+2 Project.
The Challenge starts 02/10/2017 18:00 UTC and ends 02/15/2017 18:00 UTC.

The WEP-M+2 Project is trying to find new factors of Mersenne plus two numbers, with the WEP algorithm.

The project owner bearnol, also happens to be a team member of USA! So let's see how much work we can complete for the project during the 5 day event!

If you wish to join in the fun all you need to do is attach to the project and return work during the event.
A little interesting catch with this Challenge is the WEP-M+2 Project does not have a Windows application, Linux & OSX apps only.

First day or the WEP-M+2 Challenge is completed!
The leader board shows...

...Nothing.

After the first hour of the event, the project database became inaccessible to most participants with a growing Transitioner backlog.
Last partial stats from yesterday showed The Scottish Boinc Team in 1st, SETI.USA 2nd, and USA 3rd.

At this time no Challenge statistics are available from BOINCstats.
The status of the Project database and admin/owner are also unknown at this time.

There's not all that much to report - the server just got swamped by the demand. I restarted it once but it got swamped again within about 20 minutes.

If demand falls off a bit by tomorrow I'll try restarting it again then.... (just to reiterate, the server can only handle about 4THz)

Waiting for possible clarification on the current database state.

After 48 hours into the event the project database is still unavailable.
Since a Challenge without statistics isn't a challenge at all at this point the WEP-M+2 Challenge is a bust.

I am hoping the database comes back before the scheduled end of the event so we have at least some closure those teams and crunchers that attempted to participate in the Challenge.

For those that tried to participate and make this a successful event, "Thank you".
