When is a GPU Project Not Really a GPU Project?

When it's only using 10-15% of the GPU. o_O I was doing some testing and tried a couple WUs from AmicableNumbers and saw this is now the case. I hadn't crunched that for quite awhile and thought for sure there was something wrong with my system (there probably is but more on that later). It turns out the work has changed and a lot of the crunching is now done on the CPU. You can run more WUs at at a time to load the GPU, but that's going to require even more CPU overhead.

A new search is on but it takes 8 gigs of RAM per work unit. If you can handle that, the new search runs much better. I'm putting the blitz on for the next few weeks. If you want to rack up some credit on this project now is the time, eventually it will probably slow down like before. :USA:
